Updates

Hi.
I ain't a millionaire. On this website, I can't find any info on how much its costs to update from one Version to the next and how often that happens. If I buy this program and in half a year I'm told that I have to update (ala Bill Gates crappy progs) or my program is useless, then I'd rather just keep installing shareware programs and use them for 30 days and then uninstall them. What I'm saying is, I'd like to know straight out how much this is gonna cost me in the future... just knowing how much the program costs doesn't tell me anything about the update rates.

Both TDS3 and WG3 have been out for quite somewhile and registered users of TDS3 will get TDS4 upgrade free. Likewise, the registered WG3 users will get a free upgrade to WG4. While I am not part of DCS and have no way of knowing for certain, I would be very much surprised that the TDS5 or WG5 will be released within a year of TDS4/WG4.

This last statement should'nt be confused with lack of support, however. They have been very free with releasing quick updates and feature additions but this has, at least till now, been included for free for registered users.

Anyways, this is just the view of a happy customer. I'll let the DCS folks give you the definitive "word"

basicly it proabably years befor worm guard 5 and tds 5 come out since they havent even release tds 4 or worm guard 4 and i dont expect them to do so for about at least another 7 months

i figure if you buy now you wll get free tds 4 when it comes out with free updates data base perty cool
same with worm guard 4 when it comes out

personaly i see no reason not to buy now

 

And on top of all that.....you have rediculously good support through this board either through the Diamond CS team or experienced users.

I had the same fears as you, those were dashed upon taking the plunge and purchasing these tools.

yeah the software is great i get one on one tech suport i get almost imidiate feed back from the tds team.

what i find awsome is almost the daily updates these guys are so far ahead of every one its not even funny.

but you know what the best part is they actualy care.

thats perty rare in any company i also value the fact that anything i submit regardless what it is will be handled with great privacy.

for example i dowenload something if it has a trojan or i think it has one i can submit it no qustions ask and i get feed back telling me either yes or no its a trojan.

this company values your privacy thats another plus
