I am running Windows XP and Avira Prem. I just ran a scan with Avira and it found TR/Maljava.A.24 It said it removed it. I had run a scan with SAS and Malwarebytes prior to Avira and they didn't find anything. Do I have a problem?

Problem in as much that malware shouldn't have landed on the machine at all but otherwise no as your AV was able to block it this time.

For some peace of mind I would run a scan with one or more Antivirus Rescue CD's such as:

    1. Dr.Web LiveCD
    2. Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10

You should routinely Image your Windows System Partition/Hard Drive. If you get infected, you can Restore a "known" clean Image. Restoring a "known" clean Image is the only way to be sure that your PC is "Malware Free".

I also keep a "Multi-Boot" DVD (made with Xboot) handy. This DVD contains:

    1. Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10
    2. Dr.Web LiveCD
    3. Avira Rescue System CD
    4. Bitdefender Rescue CD
    5. Various 'Live' Linux Distro's for data recovery, diagnostics, etc.

I feel that Sandboxie Paid (hardened with Start/Run Restrictions, Internet Access Restrictions, DropRights, etc.) is a very good Defense against Malware.
