    Uninstalled it already - with unfinished scan it flagged 9 ! false positives. This software has no idea about rogue programs. Quite pathetic.

    This is a new version and still being tested.Any security software can have false positives.It is one of the top rated security product trusted by millions and to say that
    is just :thumbd: o_O

    Again - post your SCAN LOG with the false positives so I can see if they are actual program false positives or things that are modified on your system that SUPERAntiSpyware is recognizing as changed.

    As far as "no idea about rogue programs", we have millions of samples of rogues and their traces/folders/registry keys in our sample set and definitions.

    We often detect the zero-day rogues before other products in the field, so I am not sure what you are referring to in your comment - however, if there is something we missed (no product can catch everything on a given day) please provide us the samples so we can esure we add those to our definitions, that's part of our service!

    Be part of the solution, or are you just holding out for your own benefit (or benefit of another product)?

    Nothing but praise for the 5.0! Light on the system and scans pretty fast, and the new features are great plus it's the first version of SAS that I left in system start-up.

    The only thing I don't like is there is no context menu scan for drives, just files?

    One other thing. Chameleon Task Manager is coming up as the old image file execution option, this is a false positive and it was brought up in your forums, why has this not been changed?

    Since I uninstalled it, sorry no logs. I tested lots of antispyware programs recently, they rarely made fp identifications, but yours - sorry.... Would it be picking up to 3 fps, I wouldn't bother posting, but this much... Good luck anyway.

    If you are going to make accusations about a product, then have your data to back it up and so we can see what is actually detected (this goes for any product ,not just ours).

    Likely, the "false positives" were items that were altered on your system and not likely "real" false positives i.e image file execution, disabled security center, etc. etc.

    An if you test anti-spyware or anti-virus products, you would know that false positives are part of the game and when you report them companies can address them - for instance - we have built in false positive reporting - so it takes a couple mouse clicks to report and resolve - how many other products you test have that? :)

    Why not be part of the solution and give us and the SUPERAntiSpyware community some data to see if it's an actual false positive or not?

    It takes less than 1 minute to install SUPERAntiSpyware and another couple minutes to scan - can you spare that time to show the scan log?

    Definitely it would be better if I could present you logs now, but you know - I'm human, not a machine :), so I reacted emotionally and uninstalled. I think it would be better if you could devote more time for this area - all fps were rescanned by me with Emsisoft antimalware and Avast 6 and no identifications of malware. Good luck.

    If you scanned them with Emsisoft and Avast those files would be in their logs - so produce those logs and files so we can see what the files were and make corrections if needed! Those files are still on your machine, so go ahead and send them to me and I'll test and verify - my e-mail nick.skrepetos AT superantispyware.com - let me know once they are sent so I can be on the watch for them!
