    Hi guys,

I was wondering if there is any software for Windows that allows to cache files in RAM for faster access. Let's say I have a plenty of RAM, and a complex program or a game that I want to "boost" by caching its files into RAM. I can see the usage as follows : I point the installation folder of the program I want to boost, and the software caches the files from it and keeps in RAM. Then any subsequent access to those files results in reading from RAM rather than HDD.

I know that OS to some extent is doing that with its own file system caching. But it's working somewhat unpredictable and doesn't allow to specify files to give priority to.

I'm aware about RAM disks, but it's not what I want, because they require to copy files back and force.

    Thank you

EDIT: Eboostr does this. You can have it prioritize specific programs.
