SATA2

the Emergency Boot CD doesn't find my SATA2 harddisk attached to the JMicron JMB360 SATA2 controller on my ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 mainboard.
I have tried the quiet acpi=off nonapic, still no good.
Any help would be of benefit I own Aconis 6,7, and tried the trial version of 9 but no luck.
As I don't own 9 it won't let me create a incident investigation although I have created a report, but I can't send it anywhere.
Please I have a few images that I created no problem, but it will not recognise the SATA2 drive when I try to recover.
Another person had the same problemin November:

and did create a report so there is a possible solution.
Any help would be great.

I have the same problem.

I'm using a promise tx2300 raid controller and TrueImage 8 rescue disc does not recognize the SATA2 h/d.

Before I waste more time. is trueimage compatiable with SATA2?

Could you please boot from Bootable Rescue CD created using the free trial version of Acronis True Image 9.0 and create Linux system information (sysinfo.txt) as it is described in Acronis Help Post?

If you are not able to create sysinfo.txt file for some reason then please boot from Bootable Rescue CD created using the free trial version of Acronis True Image 9.0 once more and press F11 key when the selection screen appears. After you get the "Linux Kernel Settings" prompt, please remove the "quiet" word, click on the OK button. As the startup messages stop scrolling please write down the last few lines of the output, or use a digital camera to make shots of the output screens.

Please also create Acronis Report in the way described below:

- Download and run Acronis Report Utility;
- Select the "Create Bootable Floppy" option;
- Insert a blank floppy disk in the A: drive and proceed with creation of the bootable floppy;
- Boot the computer from this diskette and wait for report creation process to finish;
- Collect the report file from the floppy.
