    Hey guys!

I'm using Safe Money in Kaspersky Internet Security 2013.
The problem is as soon as the transaction is done in the protected browser window, I don't get redirected in the normal window. Kaspersky tells me the action is done and the regular window should take over, but it doesn't. When I close the protected window, the regular window doesn't update and asks me if I want to launch Safe Money.

This way, the webshop can't register any payment or after transaction functions, causing me ending up contacting the webshop every time :doubt: .

Anyone of you having this same problem? I've tried Firefox 21 and IE10 but both experience the same issue.

Hi. If I go to my bank web site, it launches in the Kaspersky protected browser like it should. When I am done with that session and close the browser, the original browser session is still open and sits at a screen that shows the Kaspersky safe money notice saying "Web page opened in protected browser." This happens with either the latest versions of Chrome or IE.

Is this what you are talking about? As far as I know, mine has always done this. Is it supposed to do something else? Really, I don't know.

I am also using Kaspersky 2013.

I'm talking about online transactions in a webshop. Then a seperate protected window is launched for PayPal, Ebay, iDeal. After that, it should transfer back to the normal window and resume normal operation.

As far as Firefox goes KIS safe money is not yet updated to be compatible with FF 21 and apparently won't be for a while. That may be part of the problem. Have no clue re: IE 10

Kaspersky has been very bad in keeping its browser plugis up with FF versions. They claim that this in no way effects the security of your PC while on line. It views the browser plug ins as a convenience only so they are slow as Molasses with their FF updates.

Normally is not supposed to open a normal session once you have finished. So, what you describe seems by design. You should have the entire session protected (starting from entering the web shop up to the end) not just when you are paying... probably a conflict with the specific web shop you are using? Kaspersky forum should be the best place to ask?

No you misunderstand me I think. I'll describe.

    I'll go to "www.localshoestore.com".
I'm browsing the website, all goes fine.
I'm adding items to the basket and I click checkout.
    I select "Pay with PayPal".

Now Kaspersky asks me if I want to open PayPal in a secure window.
I click yes, a new window opens and I can pay.
After paying, PayPal says "click here to go back to the webshop".

When I do that, normally, the protected window should close and I should be able to continue on "localshowstore.com".

Yes, indeed I understood correctly. In this case try to have the protected session from the beginning already at localshoestore.com and see if this time it will work :)

I'm not sure how to do that.. Kaspersky asks me but I don't have a button in Firefox to start one manually. Am I overlooking something? (The Kaspersky button opens the URL advisor).

I've noticed this before and I find it really bad. I understand Firefox versions go up like crazy these days but that's also the case for most other browsers. "Under the hoofd" usually things don't change so just allowing the plugin to be installed on a higher version number often does the trick. However, besides that, Kaspersky offers a full security internet product and according to my opinion they should support it well or don't provide it at all.

You can do it through the GUI, gadget, or right-clicking the tray Icon if I'm correct. When I still had KIS 1023 installed I once paid a webshop with Ideal and everything went okay, after leaving the bank site it redirected back to the webshop in the normal browser window. So it should work like this, but probably has to do with Kaspersky not keeping the browser plugins updated properly.

You just open whatever site in KAV Safe Money and then just type in the web browser address bar the web address of the shop, it should keep you in the safe money environment. :)
