    Hi,
Every time I start up I get the following message, a couple of times.
    Is this by design?

Yes its by design the reg key allows indexcleaner to run and remove the index.dat file you should just go right ahead and let it do its stuff.

Yes, it looks like this if you're using Start-Up Monitor.

Why does it do this at every start up, though?

Once you okay it, you shouldn't have to continually keep okaying it, correct? Pete

This occurs because Windows deletes the key after the index.dat cleaner is run.

Does Start-Up Monitor has some sort of "ignore list" function?

    Best regards,
