WinPatrol and SpywareGuard will do the same, also happens with SpySweeper and MS AntiSpyware.

If you use an AntiSpyware in realtime why also use programs like WinPatrol or SpywareGuard?

not paranoid?! then why are you running so many AS on realtime? IMO def. overkill

    DISABLE (atleast)

    SpywareGuard

    Hi,
    I give you 8.25.
ZA, Ewido and MSAS certainly give you 1 point up each.
NAV gets you down by 2 points.
Spy Sweeper is redundant with MSAS -1 point.
Spywareguard is redundant with MSAS and Spy Sweeper -2 points.
WinPatrol is nice, but not needed with MSAS, -0.25 points for small redundancy.
    SpywareBlaster is nice, +1 point.
You get +3 points for Firefox with noscript.
You don't get any points either way for on-demand thingies.
You get +1.5 points for the utilities - erunt, hijack this, ccleaner and autoruns.

Now, my turn - one of the more exotic setups I have:

    Jetico firewall
    No anti-virus in real time
    No anti-trojan in real time
No HIPS / NIDS or other things with S as last latter in real-time, MSAS excluded
    Clamwin and Bitdefender on demand
    SnoopFree Privacy Shield anti-keylogger
    MSAS real-time
    Proxomitron web-filter with Kye-U filters
Firefox with Noscript, Adblock, Block Cookies, Dr.Web, and such
DropMyRights for applications that I think need to be disciplined

    Utilities:
    HijackThis, CCleaner

    Now, the interesting stuff:
UBCD4Win live CD and bootable usb, Knoppix live CD, Ubuntu live CD, Suse live CD, LVNSearch, DLLCompare.
A bit of tweaking using Restriction Policies.

If you want another setup, I'll write it down too.

The above is the so-called Anal Retentitive setup, and is used primarily for testing stuff, compatibilities and such.

    Mrk
