Hello, I'd like to know if someone can recommend me a program that would tell if theres a program on my computer such as a keylogger recording my keystrokes... I know ZoneAlarm Pro can do this but it has a firewall and I am just looking for a program that can tell me if theres anything recording my keystrokes.

    Thank you,

    Gracie

    Hi gracie,
I think you said somewhere that you have Ad-aware Plus/pro and Spysweeper: both can detect it, in real-time or during a scan :) .

    Cheers,

The way ZA Pro does it's is generic i think.

So maybe something like snoopfree would be the correct recommendation

Hi nico, I doubt that ad-aware pro/plus will detect keyloggers in realtime, spysweeper however should be ok, ewido/boclean/a2 would be good as well...

ad-aware pro/plus' realtime monitor is rather limited as detection goes, merely watching/monitoring registry keys, blocking websites/ip's/popups

    regards,

    Hi Infinity,

I made the PCaudit test lately on a computer where Ad-Aware Pro was installed: Ad-watch did stop the keylogger dead, as soon as I started typing :) . So I don't know how it compares to Spysweeper about keyloggers, but it seems pretty efficient.

Btw, as Gracie has Process Guard too, she'd take advantage of PG "block global hook" yet!

    Cheers,
    nicM

Thank you nicM and everyone else who replied to me. I will keep an eye on ProcessGuard to see if it alerts me of anything and also the snoopfree program Devil's Advocate mentioned.

    Thanks all again!
