I had a number of problems with Smart Security.
    1. I have NOD32 with the live license on my computer. I have tried Smart Security guessing that it would work 30 days trial. It seems that it tried to use the NOD32 license and stated that the license is expired/non-valid.
    2. The interactive mode of firewall worked incorrect. Actually it haven't notified me when my browsers attempted to reach internet and blocked them.
Moreover, when I manually created corresponding rules, the firewall still continued to block them.

I guess that the 2nd problem may happen due to expired license (1st problem). So the question: How can I try the Smart Security when I have working NOD32. Would deinstallation of NOD32 help (it seems unprobable for me)? :doubt:

If you want to try out ESS, you'll need to uninstall EAV first. If you install it over EAV, the EAV username and password will be retained so updating ESS will not be possible.

However, the 2nd problem is not related to the license, it works the same way regardless of whether your license is valid or not. I'd suggest enabling logging all blocked connections in the IDS section of the firewall setup, reproduce the problem and then check the firewall log for details about the connection that was blocked. It will tell you which rule was applied and blocked it.
