Problem installing Kaspersky Personal 5.0.388

When i install Kaspersky Personal 5.0.388,i get the message "The antivirus database is corrupted and has to be uptated in order to proceed. Would you like to do it now?" I press yes, but when the updates finish, i get the same message again. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but the problem still exists. The kaspersky icon in the taskbar is greyed, and whenever i double click on it to open the program, i get this message. The program never opens.

 

Make sure the clock in your computer is set to the right time. Also, by chance did you previously have Norton AV installed?

 

Thanks! Setting the correct time solved my problem. I couldn't imagine that this was the cause!

 

Glad it was an easy fix, I've seen that happen before.
