Problem continues in restoring individual files and folders to linux

    Greetings to all,
I am using 9 build 2,337 (just upgraded) and the error occurs even if i try to restore from Live CD (FULL) or from WinXP.
I have created a full image of my laptop hard drive (5 partitions, 1 dell, 2 windows, 1 linux swap, 1 linux ext3) and I am trying to restore individual files and filders TO my linux ext3 filesystem. I do Recovery->Image select->Individual files and folders->Original location. Then an hour glass appears and the system stays there for 6 hours (the max I have waited until a hard reboot).
Another question please: If I try to select Restore to a different location (From live CD) it does not show the linux filesystem as an option to restore TO, but only the windows drives (letters). This means I cannot restore/see my linux OS to restore there o_O

Many thanx to all for ur time and help

Current build is 2337 so the first thing they will tell you is to update to that version. Uninstall 2302 first and then do the update. Create a new bootable CD version too.

Firstly, you should do as seekforever suggests and download build 2337. Uninstall your current build and then install 2337.
What you should be doing is Plugging the image, exploring it to find the files/folders and then restoring them to your desired location. The option you have selected is only used when you have backed up selected files/folders (rather than a full image as you have done).

    Thanks evryone...

I Upgraded to newest but the option of pluggin the image DOES NOT EXIST in bootable CD (the same procedure I described previously also hangs) and from windows I cannot mount the ext3 partition (I also verified that from the company's site FAQ) because win cannot recognize Lnx filesystems. How the hell am I going to "see" linux after all o_O
    Thanks again

I am also wondering about this issue. What was your conclusion?
