Problem getting Eset Nod installed

    I used the tool to get rid the pre-installed Norton crudware on my laptop but even after doing it twice when I click to install Nod32 it still says that Norton is on my system.

    Any advice?

    Did you the use the ESET Uninstaller as well as the Norton Removal Tool?

    I have run the special Norton uninstall utility and still get that message when installing NOD32. I proceed with the installation and ignore the message.

    Do you have Symantec's services like Event Manager Service or Common Client Event Manager Service running ?

    Will_3rd: What do you mean the ESET Uninstaller? I downloaded the norton removal tool that ESET directed me to use.

    Thankful: Did the installation go through perfectly?

    Marcos: Since I do not know what those programs are and I have not used any event keeping program on this laptop yet, I think that is a no.

    So I can ignore the part that says Norton is still there huh? What is your opinion Marcos? Should I just ignore it the warning?
