Potential user ADD 10.0

I am thinking of purchasing ADD 10.0
My main concern:
1. Is for use with a Maxtor external 2OOGB (01E200) USB drive. Namely re-partioning to 3 partitions (66+/- GB each)

2. Present OS= Win xp home SP1

will this be possible with V10.0
