Next-generation heatsink has no fan at all

    Really if you watch the vid this is nothing like a plug in water cooling system.

    The pop-up impeller system is pretty cool-great for cooling and for dust.

    IMHO, this system could be adapted and used for a myriad of things that have to worry about heat or dust..(and probably will, maybe I should get some Lockheed stock.. :D)

    So basically the heatsink lifts off a bit in order to spin and it has better thermal efficiency? :eek: :rolleyes:

    I feel they are being misleading with the claim of "no fan at all" when it clearly states "the metal heatsink itself is the fan". Plus, with my current heatsink if the fan fails I can get a new one for $6. If that thing fails you would have to replace it in its entirety. Also if the video is accurate the sound that thing makes is highly annoying. I would not buy one.

    What kind of LED lighting requires active cooling? o_O
