Just click Help on the top, and it will direct you to our forum. Currently we're accepting rogue av, malware or fp on our forum. You upload the file and we will check it for you. If you do have other problems, just PM me.

Is there a way to automatically update it, or at least upgrade from the program? Also, any websites to test Trojan Virus Web Filter?

Hi guest, could you please tell me something about how KPD slows down your Internet speed? Something like a speed test (easily found on Google), or the comparison for upload/download speed between KPD installed and not. Thx so much.

Yes, currently i am downloading tons of files.
When KPCD installed my system, download rate slow down and not stabil. When i removed it, everythink is ok.
Also i checked it with Networx.
I am using Firefox Downthemall plugin for downloading.

Could you add more details about your system? What OS are you using? XP or Win7, 32bit or 64bit? Is there any other security program, or monitor program installed?

Thanks for the given information, we'll check it soon.

I think this program is great. Very lightweight, and strong protection. Other than some false positive issues with Chrome & Dropbox, I would say keep working on the detection. The web filter does not seem as effective as most others at this point. In fact in all my testing with this program, I have yet to see it block a site.

Also, the GUI has some bugs. It is setup for English, but parts show Chinese and/or Spanish. Scan results often show up in Spanish for some reason.

I do look forward to seeing the return of a stand alone Cloud AV from Kingsoft.

I have tested KPCD about 10+ times over the past couple weeks, on MDL and malc0de. 100s of links in total. I have yet to see the webfilter block even one of those links. Isn't it supposed to block malicious URLs?

But many of these domains are no longer updated/used.

@clocks - I'm sure it will be posted soon after its release. They already discussed this topic earlier in the thread.

Web filter checks malicious script and code, which used to hijack, plug-in or download Trojan from static or dynamic webpage. They may be flash, or fake missing component or others. Web filter will block them before execution. Not URL based currently.

    As discussed here: http://www.kingsoftsecurity.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=164

So I finally got around to trying this with Panda Cloud again. This time I am glad to report everything is going smooth but I have not rebooted yet. However I don't reboot that often. It's already popped up and alerted me that your cloud engine has checked an unknown file (Panda Security URL Filter) and confirmed it as safe.

Memory usage it also better this time around for currently its only using 12 MB of ram and running smooth. I will keep my eye open for any problems.

Only suggestion why not the ability to right click a file and click scan with Kingsoft?

Right click for custom scan, that could be added. Because KPD aims to working with other security software, the right click menu might be full of custom scan. If this is a need, we could add it.

BTW, how many guys are using Limited User Account? Having any problems?
