Can anyone tell me what the following message means and how to eliminate it. It shows up when I do a on demand scan. Running Windows 2K with all updates and there are no problems with the machine's performance. Drive C and D are 200 gig drives and drive E is 2 200 gig drives in a mirrored raid array.

"Error occurred while scanning MBR sector of the 4. physical disc. Error reading sector"

    Thanks for any feedback

I got that as well. I found that after I went through Blackspears settings I no longer get these messages. You should try that. its https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=37509

I believe its just telling you that you have a card reader or the like that has no media in it. I think it will also show this for a printer with a card reader as well. Nothing to worry about, but Blackspears settings stop it from occuring anyways.

Thanks gents. Looking through the referenced material brings up another question but it's differenet enough that I thing it would be better to start a new thread.
