Looking for Speech reader

i am looking for a voice program that can read all files including PDF, doc etc.

The reason being I have a lot of ebooks and i can't stand sitting in fron tof the computer for too long.

can anyone help? preferebly freeware

 

I this any good for you? You have to copy and paste the text to get it to read it out.

XP has it already, doesn't it? Adobe reads PDFs aloud. Microsoft reader also reads eBooks....

 

oh yeah, i just got it to read a PDF and it's reading out the letters i'm typing now it's rubbish though, with my PDFs it will only read the title of the page, it reads everything else though

i'm going to try downloading other voices and maybe see if any are better. it's already driving me crazy i've just remembered how many great PDFs i've got to read i hope i find something good now.
