What light and free program to monitor CPU/GPU temp in real-time do you recommend? Windows XP or 7. Thanks!

Some older versions of HW Monitor displayed wrong values, so I decided to find something else. HWInfo is what I use now.

    I use Speccy

It's simple, lightweight, 32-bit and 64-bit, can be installed and or used as a portable application, plus It's 100% free. It is made by Piriform, the makers of CCleaner.

Defraggler does the job for me. It defragments and shows the health of each drive including temperature. Awesome thing I tell you. And it's from piriform the makers of Ccleaner and speccy!

nice but it does not show the temperature for the CPU/motherboard.
    HWinfo and HW Monitor do.

I use SpeedFan, tie the values to a Rainmeter skin, and get realtime temp/load/history monitors -

It costs me 30MB RAM (SpeedFan +Rainmeter) and very low I/O to run this.
HWinfo is pretty awesome, thanks Nebulus.
It should be noted though that these kinds of monitors usually silently install a driver. As stated by HWinfo -

Just a thing to keep in mind when using portable versions of these apps.
