Hi Rikster33.....and welcome to the forum.

Have you received your license key(s) via email from DCS yet?

There is a good chance they are still on their Christmans break, see this post.

Also they normally only forward keys Mon-Fri, and not weekends if I recall correctly.

    Regards,
    CrazyM

With TDS-3 you should have received a file like tds.kf and it is just a matter of copying that into your TDS-3 folder in the directory where you have the program installed.

With Port Explorer the key file should be like Port.pkf and also needs to be copied to the PE folder in the directory where you have the program installed.

[edit] When you were at the download page for PE (you need a new download, not the trial) there would have been an unlock code there you will need and have to write down. If you did not do that, see if you can log back in with the info from the email and get that.

Not familiar with Wormguard, but likely requires a similar key file being copied to the appropriate program folder in the installed directory.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    CrazyM

    For which application?

With PE you will need to uninstall the trial and download the full version and install it along with the other specific instructions that relate to PE.

With the others, it should just be a matter of copying the key file to the appropriate directory.

    Regards,
    CrazyM

There is no need to open it Rikster33.
Just rightclick the tds3.kf that probably is in your attachments folder, select copy and then paste it to the same folder tds-3.exe is in.
The same goes for wguard.kf; copy it to the folder wguard.exe is in.

    Regards,

    Pieter

That's right, just copy the keyfiles in the different programs directories like TDS-3 (where is the Tds-3.exe) and the other in the WG directory and the third in the PE directory as they were sent to you with your registration emails.
For TDS just reload or start TDS and it should give in the first line "registered to ...."
For WG you might need to press the option "install" and test to see what happens.
If you run Win2000 or XP it seems to give "unregistered" which is a little bug where's been worked on and in the next update that will be one.
For PE as described above: after downloading the full version and installing it then copy that keyfile in the PE directory.
You have to reboot anyway after that install, which might help TDS and WG nicely too.
So all keys just copy the original keys into their proper directories and start the programs exe's. They all find their proper keyfile you just copied into their directories.
When starting PE first time you'll be asked to type in your unlock code you found in your private members area where you downloaded your own copy (you can easily get back to that page in case you lost that unlock code with the URL from your registratio email)
Hope it works and helps get you from confusion. Please post us how it goes.

Where did you put which keyfile and what exactly did you do?
And what is the mess now?
If you mean the SS3 this has nothing to do with keyfiles and can only read/load/run SS3 and a few other scripts, but scripts, no keyfiles.
If you pressed the SS3, and tried to run or load another file i can imagine a lot of mess in your TDS console with lots of errors messages, which might confuse you, i'm sure.
This did not effect the keyfile itself, i might suppose.
But after copying in the TDS keyfile in the TDS-3 directory, starting TDS, what did the first line in the TDS console tell you?

Can we go through each program apart please?
    I see our messages crossed.
After installing TDS in it's own directory (you choose the path and name) lets suppose you used C:\program files \diamond compyter systems\tds-3.
So in this TD-3 directory is your TDS-3.exe. In this same directory you copy the tds-3.kf as it was attached to your registration email.
I'm used after an installation to reboot, which you might like too.
Start TDS (you might have created a shortcut of the tds-3.exe on your desktop) and see if it's still telling it's unregistered.
The 3.2.0 is correct, that will be corrected with the next update to version 4.

Is TDS working now as it should, with the right TDS keyfile in it and after starting telling it's registered to your name and probably a recommendation to update the databases immediately?
This can only work this way in registered versions:
TDS > Update TDS databases now! , after which it will update the Radius till it's 20822 references this moment or if it was already it will tell you it is uptodate and abort the updating.
Also if in TDS you click Help > About TDS , you should get there it's registered to you.
Please tell me if your TDS is ok this way with the registration.

As i did not hear you about WormGuard, aer there no problems and the testing does work ok?
Which windows version are you using, btw?

    Now to the PE problem.
Did all the registration part go ok now and does it tell you in it's "about" and in the console header it's registered to you?
    Are you running any debugger?
Among others there's one in the windows\system\mdm.exe (or in system32) which came with installing windows powertoys. If i remember well i disabled that one from running in the IE settings.
(In IE > Tools > Interet options > Advanced settings > under "surfing" check the "disable error displaying in scripts " (not sure about the exact english text here) and much lower uncheck the option about "displaying every script error".
In TDS or the Autostart files you can see if you have the MDM.exe started; i have it available but not active automatically.
    Other debuggers on your system?

Jooske sorry to confuse you os is win 98, not sure what a debugger is,i will try what you said and i uninstalled everything made some coffee and gonna start all over. I will begin with the e mails attachments,do i just highlight and copy then paste or use this Power Archiver to unzip? any how if you have the time and patience that would be super.

Coffee and brunch is a good idea.
I don't see reasons for uninstalling yet, but if you like to practise nothing against it or in case of real serious errors (which i doubt).
Is your win98 (or win98se?) an english system?

You had the downloaded files, installed them and in their evaluation version they all worked properly, right?
Only PE evaluation needed uninstalling, WG and TDS you can keep as they are.
For all three of them you got registration messages and keyfiles attached, for PE you also got exact download instructions a location for your individual registered version and keyfile attached.

You did manage to unzip and install each program already.
You can have installed them anywhere on your system in self chosen locations, but for the ease of this example let's suppose for installation you used
    c:\program files\diamond computer systems\tds-3
    c:\program files\diamond computer systems\wormguard
    c:\program files\diamond computer systems\port explorer
    Right so far?

Now you have the emails with the attached keyfiles.
Get the TDS registration email, and click once on the attached keyfile. Rightclicking on it will give you the option to "save as.." for which you hunt for that first program TDS and save the tds3.kf there. If you look with windows\explorer you will see also your tds-3.exe is there.
Nothing to install, just copy that keyfile in that directory.

Do the same with the WG and PE keyfiles each in their own proper directories.

If you did not reboot yet after installing the programs, you should do now.

Now we go again for each individual program.
If you now start TDS-3, does it still say it's unregistered?
If so, where did you install TDS-3, where is's TDS-3.exe and where did put it's tds3.kf (keyfile)?
Did you give the proper email address and name and whatever more was asked for the registration?
Suppose you did, as you got the confirmation and registration keys emailed to you.

If TDS is now working properly telling it's registered to you you can look for the configuration, for which FanJ 's explanation is very handy in the first sticky messages here in the TDS forums.

If TDs is now ready for you and you could update the radius as told, that one is ready.

Now for wormguard. Again after installing that one, get the email, rightclick the attachment to "save as.. " to the location inside the WG directory, start or restart WG or if you prefer even reboot, find and start the WG, enable and test the protection and see if it's telling you're registered.
With Win98/win98SE it should tell you are.
For refining settings you can find nice and interesting postings in the WG forums here.

    For PE:
Again, find the email and the attached keyfile, click on that attachment to "save as.." in the proper PE directory (the full registered version, the eval you uninstalled), reboot, and after starting PE it will ask for including the unlock code you found in your individual download location.
Did you try the evaluation version of PE before this? And if so, did you get that "debugger" message there too?
If after this complete proper install and proper including of the keyfile and the unlock code you still get this "debugger" message and you are very sure not to run any debugger you email to portexplorer@diamondcs.com.au or you use your feedback form in your Portexplorer area on the website there with this exact error message, for which you will get further instructions from them for some tests with you.
Please keep us informed how you're doing.
So you understand now the kiles are nothing but a file you put in their proper individual locations to be used by the programs to run as registered, no need too anything different with those files at all if not specific instructed.

I'm sure there is no real mess at all, and you can't do much wrong, just take care each key is copied into each proper installed program directory where each program's "exe" is located. (not all together in one DCS directory for instance with all the keyfiles in that big one all together too; could imagine such ideas, but as there might be files with the same names like a config file or an update, it could really mess up things if done that way so keep them each in their individual ltion with their own belongings.)

But i'll certainly be in for a coffee for myself to start with in the meantime while you wrestle with your email client to have you pick up your keyfiles and have those attachments copied individually to their own locations.

With the description of the keyfile also the file itself should have been attached, something like port.pkf for instance.
For Password i had serial, ok, no problem, and the download location for your full version of PE.
It should tell you you needed that serial to login to your own area to get your own individual PE copy of the full version to download, install, include the attached keyfile, reboot, include the unlock code from your download location you just used to login.
If your keyfile was not attached with that same email, where is keyfile? Was there any mentioning about it or that you needed to download that file too ot that it would be in that location or included in your own software copy?
If the file was attached, like sai, it shoudl be copied (save as...) into the PE directory and reboot and start.
Now i wonder if you missed that important keyfile maybe?

Congratulations! And thank you so much for joining the licensed TDS / WG operators family! Forgot all that in the first postigs, sorry for that!
Hope TDS is welcoming you with it's kind TDS voice and telling you it likes bites of your lunch and all that.
Because of all reasons around in my own environment i forgot to write a nice christmas welcoming script or that kind for all of us to enjoy and to be played and sung either by TDS itself or an MSAgent via TDS. Anyway, might work on such a thing later.

I'm really happy you got this part with TDS and WG worked out and solved. Hope to see you in the DCS private licenced TDS operators only forum as well; note that the URLs to that one from the TDS console F5 or via the Help menu don't get you anywhere as that one is recently changed.
If it's not corrected in your welcoming/registration email let us know so we can IM you the correct one to go to and register your forum entrance there to have your access to that forum.
