We have a problem with Outlook 2007 and NOD32 5.0.95.0 64bit. Outlook randomly fails to download messages with an attachment larger than about 2MB. If I disable POP3 protocol checking the emails download correctly. This is affecting multiple computers but sometimes large emails get downloaded with no problems.

Does anybody have any idea what is going wrong?

You may be able to clear out the issue by disabling the ESET plugin within Outlook. NOD32 will still scan emails and attachments but there may be an issue with the plugin which is causing the emails not to download correctly.

    1. In Outlook, click 'Tools' -> 'Trust Center'
    2. On the left of the Trust Center window, click 'Add-ins'
    3. At the bottom next to 'Manage:', click the drop down menu and select 'Exchange Client Extensions' and click the 'Go...' button.
    4. In the 'Add-in Manager' window, deselect the box next to 'ESET Outlook Plugin' and click 'OK'
