Is NAV getting a new SCanning engine that's supposed to rival KAV's?

  1. o_O I can't remember where I read it, but I read somewhere that NAV is getting a new, more powerful scanning engine soon... Is there any truth to that? Please share any knowledge if anyone knows.. I am using NOD32 on an older computer and NIS on a brand new Gateway laptop. On the Gateway NIS is perfect!!! Runs smoothly, no freeze ups or nothing. So far, detected Klez, and Yaha with no problems!

    Thanks,

Who should know this? Every antivirus vendor will tell you again and again the same story: Our next scanning engine will be revolutinary more powerfull.

The only answer I can give is wait and see until it is out and somebody tested it. But keep in mind that all other vendors (incl. Eset) are also working and improving their scanengines.
