IMON causing Outlook 2002 to "hang"

  1. Hello

I use the 2.0 beta 2, and experience every session that Outlook 2002 (XP) hangs in that sense that it uses 100% CPU until I close Outlook. I does not complete the mail download / scanning and that is why I need to close Outlook. However, sometimes it works well, and I see that IMON has added some lines to the mail. I have tried most combinations of settings in the IMON setup to isolate the problem, but all settings gives the same result.
I am running Windows XP Professional, with all available updates.

I consider this as being a bug report to the developers of the 2.0 version.

If anyone has any information on this problem, I would be greatful.

    Kind Regards
    Geir Olav Heiene

    Hi Geir ,

Does it occur on downloading a specific mail (e.g. too big, or with a special format)?

What for a lines? Could you pls. copy them here (if not too long)?

    >I am running Windows XP Professional, with all available updates.

Pls. copy the content of NOD32 System Tools>Information from that machine here.

    Thanks. :D

I am having the same problem, but not with Outlook, it happens with Internet Explorer (SP1 and all SP2 hot fixes installed). The problem also has happened with DCS's PortExplorer. See this thread https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=7822 . It seems to be an issue with imon.dll and the LSP's.
