JetBrains recently released Mono, a typeface for developers.

I would like to use this font in the Windows Command shell (cmd).

To achieve this I tried to follow the steps in this wikiHow article, but without success (the font does not appear in the font tab after editing the registry).

How can I do this? (if at all?)

Could not install this font in PuTTY either, unless I allowed the installation of variable-pitched fonts.

Guess that's my problem for the Windows Comand shell?

Looks closely similar to Segoe UI which is what I always changed my fonts to in notepad and system wide on 8.1.

    Am I missing something?

Wish they also did complete Nerd Fonts.

Now I still have to patch them to maintain a nice/powerful prompt (on macOS, using Powerlevel10k).
