Help needed urgently

    Not sure where to post this.

    My friend is having major problems with his google search and ccleaner too.

    When he searches in google it takes him to a casino site, no matter what he searches for.


    I have run ad aware for him, they detected approx 70 issues which have all been deleted.

    When i ran ccleaner for him it crashes after 30 secs or so and freezes, which then has to be forcefully closed, as does spybot, even in safe mode.

    Can anyone offer some advice?

    I have presently got his antivirus running in safe mode (norton). His firewall is sygate.

    A hijack log posted at one of the forums in this announcement would probably be the best way to find the problem.
