    Hi,
i have a question on setting up a rule for msn messenger voice conversation. currently i'm using, allow UDP incoming and outgoing for remote port 1024-65535. Is it safe to allow that rule or is there any other rules that work better for GS and msn messenger voice conversation??

    thanks for the help.

64512 are a lot of ports to have open, even if they are UDP, and vulnerable. I currently don't use voice IM, but if the need arose I personally would do all I could to find the exact port(s)/range used. Then I would create a rule to only open the necessary port(s)/range.
