Can I use NOD as back up to McAfee or vise versa? I just make sure there's no probelm with the 2 programs being on the same computer.

There's no "one and all" answer to that. Far too many variables related to specific systems come into play. In general, it's recommended to make at least sure to disable every start up module from an already installed sortalike software.

On this test engine, NOD32, DrWeb, KAV and PCCillin ar installed for example without any hickup.

The safest way to go is making a backup first before installing.

    regards.

Thanks Paul. I made so NOD don't start with my computer like I did with BitDefender. It seems to be going good so far.

Thanks Paul. I did notice that when I scanned with NOD it gave me a few error about certian files being protected with passwords. Like a few spybot s&d files. I never knew there was locked files on my compuiter. :)

Those aren't errors - merely pointers. Feel free to post a screen shot ;).

    regards.

Here's a screen shot. Now all of these things on the list is from spybot s&d. NOD says they are all password protected.
