    Hi

How do I download a flash video I'm viewing in my browser to a file in my computer? I'm using Firefox 3, I tried VideoDownloadHelper but it doesn't cover a lot of sites.

    Thanks

IMO the best is using Real Player. It has a plugin that works unfortunately only for IE and Firefox 2, but, you can use RealPlayer's internal browser to browse to the site you want, then you'll see that:
    untitled.JPG
Click Download This video and the video will be downloaded to the Real Player Downloads Folder(in My Documents, you can change the folder if you want in the options).

I use the free ashampoo clipfinder. Just download it then search for the clip you want and either save it or download it. You can then play it with whatever player. Works real well.

Try Fast Video Download v1.6.1 add-on with your Firefox 3. It works nicely with YouTube.

Now that I figured it out finally and also set Sandboxie appropriately, I too can give a nod to Orbit Downloader.
