My favorite browser is Firefox... and I also installed FireTune for firefox to optimize firefox browser. But, after browsing the web I discovered that there's also this Firefox optimizer called Fasterfox. I haven't installed this yet, coz I am wondering that maybe this is just has the same functions and purpose w FireTune for firefox. o_O

Are the two the same? Is it okay to install this two programs in my pc to optimize my Firefox browser? o_O

I am just wondering if other users of Firefox browsers are also using FireTune for firefox to optimize this browser... or using Fasterfox.

I think its ok to install it, it seems to have 1 or 2 features that I don't see in Firetune.

I'm using both Firetune and Fasterfox with Firefox and I've seen no conflicts at all. I couldn't say if Firefox is very much faster with either one or with both in place, since my PC is pretty quick anyway. But it never hurts to get things going as fast as possible...

After installing Fasterfox while Firetune was still installed... it slowed down my surfing speed. Then I tried to removed Firetune and only used Fasterfox... still very slow...(using the Turbo Charge and then tried optimized), then I choose the courteous setting on Fasterfox and everything is fine. It now speeded like never before.

But.. I was thinking then that maybe my internet modem optimizer (Morpheus Internet Accelarator) also has some effects on its setting.

Are the internet modem optimizer settings affects some systems that are different and not connected from Fasterfox settings and it didn't affects each othero_O?

    Any suggestions or thoughts?

Perhaps Fasterfox is more than enough already, seems like you can't run fasterfox together with firetune. I don't think the morpheus accelerator is affecting it, but my recommendation is that running 1 accelerator is more than enough, more than 1 may cause conflicts or problems. Up to u if u want to run more than 1 accelerator program.

I'm running Firefox 1.5RC2 with both Firetune 1.08 and Fasterfox 0.81 on 3 different machines. I haven't had any conflicts or problems yet.

After I tried testing the different settings on Fasterfox still my net speed is slow... so I have no other choice but uninstall this thing on my pc and go back to Firetune 1.08 and Morpheus Internet Accelerator.

Maybe, Fasterfox works great for others... but it didn't works well for me.
