  1. Since Fasterfox uses the enhanced pre-fetching function would this be a security concern if it automatically loads and caches all links to web page

    im not sure if its a security concern, but u are welcome to use custom settings and turn it off, which is what i do.

    Thank you for the reply . I realize this feature can be turned off, but want to know if anyone knows if leaving enabled creates a security risk.

    My experience with Fasterfox is that it doesn't improve loading speed enough to be worth it.
    In addition, overloading pages with requests will sometimes cause you to be blocked from the site.
    I used for awhile and found no real difference in speed.

    Yes, I ended up uninstalling. Also, I found that the prefetching did cause alerts simply by doing a Google search and only seeing the results page, since it was prefetching in background.

    so in theory, from what I understand, it *could* be a cause as it is downloading in background as testified to alerting Ii used to receive so if your security apps aren't up to paro_O.
