After updating the new Nod engine, it appears that no log is being kept after auto updates or manually for that matter o_O

    Anyone having the same probs??

    rgds,
    Martin

I've noticed the same thing and was wondering what was up as it did log before. I have sent an email to support and as soon as I hear something I post it here on the thread.

    Same here.
Logs when there is an update downloaded & mirror created, but no logging of regular checks on Win XP.
Also the same on Win 98 machines updating from mirror, but errors are logged.

    regards

I haven't any trouble with logging. Only previous build add to log each update check and last is adding only upadate and mirror notify (only on action).

It is logging any error, change in the network configuration, updates of virus signatures, and virus infiltration. Enclosed is a copy of the event log.

    Hi Radi,

Now Nod's Event Log only displays the auto updates, but still not the manual ones.

    See screenshot:

    Hi guys,

we are aware that some detailed information on updates are no longer written to the log. The reason is that we wanted to make logs more transparent so messages with lower importance are now omitted.

In the future, we may consider incorporating an option to create extended logs, if necessary.

Yes, that would be a good idea. I miss the information previously provided in the log.
