DVD Burning,

OK you Burning gurus, here the question. My sister-in-law wants to be able to do some video editing and burning. It has to be Quicktime compatible.

Her quotes :

"about finding a program to buy that I can burn DVD's and do video/picture editing with"

"it has to be quicktime compatible though"

"my camera takes video in quicktime and things like Microsoft Movie Maker 2 will not run it"

What programs would you suggest.

Quicktime Pro maybe? Not sure about the DVD burning though...

 

you can edit in a format which works for Microsoft Movie Maker 2 then convert it to quicktime format. Videora will do it. it might need the .Net framework though. there's lots of other converters around.

im not sure about quicktime support but nero can autoamtically convert ur video and burn to cd or dvd.

I am going to email her this thread right now. I originally thought Nero, as I have the express version and like it (although I am really inexperienced with burning as I use Data Stick mostly). But, I see that Quicktime pro is only $29, if it allows her to burn seee might want to use that.

 

I would agree that nero would probably be the best bet.
