I doubt we'll see anyone select, "No, I find it a bad application".
I love this program and agree with Gullible Jones... I ought to buy a license. But in all honesty, I wish it was a lifetime license and not a yearly one.
Or maybe if the license renewal was cheap.
If I ever get infected, I may purchase at that time.

    Just a simple no.

  7. To be honest, the free product is good enough at detecting baddies that the ability to automatically remove them is just icing on the cake. If I bought a license, it would be just to support Surfright so they can continue maintaining this awesome product.

$17.00 at Majorgeeks seems cheap. Or is that the regular price? Personally I haven't felt a need for it yet, hense my selection. Who knows what the future holds.

I like to purchase lifetime licenses whenever possible, and that way I can afford a few here and there that require renewal fees. When you think about it, you're right, $17 isn't that much. It's the accumulation of software renewal fees that can run into serious money. I try to keep that in check, is all I'm saying.

No. Never used it, because I didn't like it in the past (don't know why). My answer isn't there so I didn't vote.

I wouldn't be without it. The best second-opinion scanner out there!

Used to use it regularly but couldn't get the cash to purchase a license, so uninstalled it a long time ago. :D
Still, a very very good software IMO!! Worth the money. :D

Even if you cant afford to buy HMP after its thirty day trial you can still use it for another opinion scanner minus the cleaning ability.I never clean anyways once a scanner says I have a nastie on board and I am sure its not a false positive,I then I replace a Image. However the only time I had to replace a image in the last 4 years is from crap software that borked my OS,which in my book is worse then most malware.

I rather have quality malware that runs good on my OS the legit crapware that run poorly.:D

I must've been the only person to choose "No, I find it a bad application" as my vote increased it to an astounding one. I've only used it once a very long time ago when it was first released. It was like the False Positive scanning engine. How many false positives can it find in a clean system? That was the question I was asking when I ran it. That being said I haven't touched it in a long time, I don't need it nowadays anyways so I have no real plans to try it and besides I'm paying enough for security as it is.

Here, it still gives the occasional false positive (which I sometimes report to multiple vendors to be sure).

It's a great program. But while I trust in its detection capabilities, I wouldn't trust in its cleaning capabilities..
