    Hello Everyone!

I have Desktop Weather installed by The Weather Channel and I am wondering if there is an update to the current alert if it will make a noise or not. I know when theirs an alert issued for the first time, it makes a noise of thunder.
Also, will I get the thunder noise in case a alert is issued if my monitor is off but my computer is on and the speakers are turned up?

If there are any users of this product that can help answer my question, it would be appreciated :)

    Thanks,

    Brian

I think it will. I am not 100% sure because I have not had a storm at night time since I first installed it. An idea would be to find an area that will have a storm hitting it very soon and set the area to your home, then let the pc go into screensaver/monitor off mode and find out. I am sure there is atleast 1 thunderstorm in the US a day, somewhere, lol.
