Well, as I have said in other posts, I have a mix of systems using ESET SS BE. Mostly, they have all been installed successfully.

However, two laptops are giving me issues. One, a Toshiba Tecra, would hang often. The other was a Dell Latitude D820. That one would hang and sometimes BSOD.

Any existing list of hardware/software incompatibilities? How can I determine what is causing the issue?

    Thanks.

The best would be if ESET can investigate.
So , please , download and run ESET SysInspector
    http://www.eset.com/download/sysinspector.php

When the information is ready , click File > Save Log
    Confirm your wish.

A log file , places in a zip archive , will be created.

Send these archived files to ESET Technical Support , support@eset.com . Then , they'll guide you to a way to eliminate the issues.

I am in the process of collecting info today. Thanks.

There is a third laptop to add to the mix that I will have to uninstall ESET from so that the employee can continue to work. It's another Dell Latitude.

Was wondering if anyone has had similar issues? It's funny that I am getting weird conflicts only on laptops. Looks like initially explorer and/or SS hang, hard to tell, and then eventually may take down a system as resources become unavailable...

    Hello,

Please make sure there are no remnants of previously-installed anti-malware programs on the computers. Problems can occur if "orphaned" services or device drivers left over from previously-installed anti-malware software are present on the computer.

Also, please make sure that the computers have the latest device drivers installed for their wired and wireless network interface cards.

    Regards,

    Aryeh Goretsky

    This has just started happening.

Dell replaced the video card and the motherboard.
    Still happens.
    Any ideas.?
