Hope Ilya answers this. I know he is focussing on 32 bits, because that is the main stream. I fear 32bit will be main stream for at least a year.

OT: ThreatFire is working on a vista 64 bits, Best performing (in terms of real 64 bits) security aps on 64 bits are Comodo/D+ and Bitdefender AV

The 32bit version? Or do you have a 64bit beta version?

Over three months ago I trialed a few AV's on the Vista64 gaming box.

I recall Bitdefender having a true 64 bits application, go to their web site and click "looking for 64 bits", downloads will appear

I remember Ilya saying that there wouldn't be an x64 version, because the license cost, or something to that regard. I could be wrong, just going by memory here.

To make a 64-bit migration for DefenseWall, I need to:

    1. Migrate to a new skin engine.
    2. Finish with functions I need to implement first head.
    3. Find out how I can legitimely work with PatchGuard API (I read somewhere that this API access is limited to Gold Security Parters of MS, but this need to be checked). Vista SP1 only, BTW.
    4. Buy a special driver digital signature.
    5. Start x64 migration that will takes at least few months of solving technical problems and issues.

So, yes, there will be x64 version, but not really soon. Also, x64 part of the Windows market is not really significant, x32 is the mainstream. See no reasons to be hurry with x64.

Thanks for the answer. Guess I'll stick with MalwareBytes. Can't bring myself to use Windows Defender. :D

You know Malwarebytes' HIPS doesn't work with x64 right? They even said in their forums, if you're using x64, you might as well just use the free version.
