Well, each system is different. Runs heavy on my system compared to other AV's. Like I said, AVG is light as can be and no feeling of disk access like I seem to always get from CCAV. The difference in RAM usage is about 40MB for AVG to over 100MB for CCAV as well. Don't remember the exact numbers, but they were high for CCAV and all of the processes running.

For me it just constantly churned disk io, even with the computer was idle. In fact, more than any other AV I have ever used. I tried getting answers from the devs, but they didn't seem to want to investigate it.

What about sandbox aware threats....that behave safe when sandboxed?
Are "Recognizers" like behavior rule sets?

I'm pretty sure it does, just asking to make sure, does CCAV disable Defender in W10?

    Yes.

Heavy on my system as well and problems with connection to cloud server.

Edit: Sandbox is going crazy and isolating several clean programs ... :ouch:

Using this on several systems again, including a work computer and very happy with how it is performing. Maybe some changes made? Nowhere near as heavy and performing as expected. Quite happy for a free product indeed. Well done Comodo.

Edit: I will say that it did not disable WD on one system and I had to as the two were competing and taking up system resources. After disabling WD, all is well again.

what are the I/O read bytes for CCAV on your system?
    your OS and RAM?

my OS and RAM - Win 10 Pro 64 Bits and 6GB RAM
I/O read bytes for CCAV starts with 5 figures, ex- 46399, then 6 figures, ex- 675826, and finally 7 figures, ex- 1256893.

I have used the system for approximately 12-14 hours and I/O read bytes didn't reach 8 figures with the latest CCAV version.
Previous CCAV version, I/O read bytes use to touch 8 figures.
I provided some data to the developers and they released the latest version with performance improvements regards I/O.

    Latest version runs good overall.

Do you see little slow down starting your programs first time?
Do you see little slow down with programs install/uninstall?

Try Avidemux portable from portableapps website and share your experience here.
You will see it takes a long time to start. Seems some programs may take long to start with CCAV.

Try running few programs at once with net disconnected with CCAV and share your experience here.
You may see programs taking very long to appear on the system.
(it should be the first run of the programs since CCAV install)

Don't have any exact measurements right now, but overall, 3 processes using about 25MB of RAM currently. Nothing major. I find start ups and shut downs quicker than when I used Bitdefender, Avast or AVG. I'm running CCA on my wife's laptop which doesn't have much RAM, 4GB I believe) and is pretty darn slow and it runs pretty decent. No real slow downs noted.

First running apps can be a little slower, but only once and then you're good. So far I am really impressed with CCA.

Latest version overall runs fine for me too.

I/O read bytes big like 7-8 figures isn't a concern?
