    What checkimage utility?
    How is it different from the verify image feature within TrueImage?

    It is basically the same utility but as a stand alone CheckImage.exe 89kb you just click snd point to any tib image and it will initiate a check of that image
    Until recently I used to make sure of a double check before burning on bootable DVD

    Hello vareniky,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    Please note that the CheckImage.exe file can check the image archive created with Acronis True Image 9.0. Please also be aware that this utility works with the image of a partition (or a hard drive) and doesn't work with the file backup.

    Thank you.

    Hello vareniky,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    Could you please clarify what exact image you are trying to verify?
    Please be aware that this utility does not support file-based backup.

    Please make screen shots all of your steps along with the error message.

    If you are not familiar with making screen shots, please read the below step-by-step instructions.

    - Get to the window which you want to make a screen shot of;
    - Hit the (Alt+)PrintScreen button on your keyboard;
    - Run Paint usually available in Start\Programs\Accessories or another graphics application;
    - Choose Paste command in Edit menu;
    - Save the result picture with JPEG format being preferable.

    Please create an account, then log in and submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
