The Man Who Came to Dinner :doubt:

This line was said by Sheridan Whiteside (MONTY WOOLLEY) to Miss Preen (MARY WICKES) when she won't let him eat chocolates....

    Now here's my quote:

"The genius of the hole. No matter how long you spend climbing out, you can still fall back down in an instant."

Well...this one was a toughie !!...have we expanded the original post to include video games ? Said by Max Payne in Max Payne 2: The fall of Max Payne.

Here's one: "One morning I shot an elephant in my pajama's.How he got into my pajama's I'll never know"

This was said in a 1930 film, Animal Crackers, by Jules Henry "Groucho" Marx.

Max Payne 2 is a "Film Noir Love Story". Besides, video games represent movies a lot nowadays, so I guess its OK to include those too ;)

    Here's my new quote:

The nightmare was always the same. Violent shapes moving in darkness, old and ugly. The killer's mad laughter was a riddle filled with wicked innuendo. Somewhere the baby was crying.

Max Payne has been a particularly big influence on your postings !! Are you, like Payne himself. a 'man on the edge?'....this was said, again by Max Payne in the original, stylish, brilliantly realised 'MAX PAYNE'....

    Here's one....
    "Shut up and deal !"

Um...Yes. Max Payne has a huge influence on me. I am more influenced by the original Max Payne rather than Max Payne 2, but both are highly influential. I am ~sometimes~ on the edge...but not always ;)

    "Shut up and deal"

This was said by FRAN KUBELIK (Shirley MacLaine) in the 1960 movie, THE APARTMENT.

    Now here's my quote:

"I pick up guns, bad things happen to people. I don't like that."

    "That'll be the day".

Said by Ethan Edwards (John Wayne) in THE SEARCHERS, 1956

See post no.35 for my quote.

ErikAlbert....does this quote appear in 'Dracula'?.....if so, then it was lifted and used again in 'Alien'-Ian Holm (as the Robot)

Your dialogue has me beat....sounds like it comes from a comedy-spoof-horror...."Dracula...dead and loving it" o_O
