Cool. I picked up a few BD licenses cheap earlier in the year, but was waiting for a change.

A Newbie I read in "What is your security set-up these days?" a post by Aventador (5000+ posts) that he purchased a 2013 Bitdefender program for $6. I tried to get a reply as to where without success. Where are these programs sold at bargain prices? Thanks, wassup.doc*puppy*

bitdefender can always be found dirt cheap. v3 store had it under 10$ not sure if they still do among other places.

The deal at downloadcrew.com is tempting, but there needs to be a way to ignore potentially infected files. They shouldn't be auto quarantined or auto deleted, that's ridiculous. We should be asked what to do with the file. I can't use an AV that makes these decisions for me.

I suggest you send them an email as many would appreciate it and I'm sure BullGuard will listen to their customers and potential customers

    http://www.bullguard.com/support.aspx

Let's all send our suggestions, when they see many people are asking for it, they will probably implement this change

What does any of that have to do with Bitdefender?

not actually , it's like you go to bitdefender forum and ask about bullguard.. i bet the only thing u get there would be "ask about other vendors in their own dedicated forum"

    sorry.:)

Be careful about this Securon. Looks like they'll rip you off with the automatic renewal. I've had bad experiences with BD (Avangate) auto renewals because they charge significantly more the next time.

I wouldn't bother with this deal as it looks a bit suspicious. The link about getting more information about disabling the continuous protection doesn't do anything.

    CONTINUOUS PROTECTION
Continuous Protection provided by Bitdefender will keep your computer protected from latest viruses and Internet threats by Automatically Renewing your subscription at the then-current renewal price plus applicable tax. You will be notified by email about renewal prior to the expiration of your subscription. Without taking any actions you authorize Avangate, online vendor of Bitdefender, to automatically charge your credit card by using the contact and billing information you provided for your purchase today.

To disable Continuous Protection renewal at any time, you can contact our Customer Care, or get more information click here.

I agree for my contact details (name, address and e-mail address) to be passed on to Rebate Delivery to claim the rebate offer and only for this purpose.

Bought! It's installing at the moment :D

I had issues with the free version where it hung my PC twice, so I had uninstalled it. Couldn't resist this offer though.. let's see how this works out for me :)

Hello Securon.Dont forget to cancel pre-authorization in your paypal preferences for a Avangate BV so you wont get future billing from them.

    https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/customerprofileweb?cmd=_manage-paylist

Same for the Avangate account.Stop the payments simply by logging in to Avangate myAccount, going to "My Products" area and by clicking "Stop automatic license renewal" beneath each product that has this option enabled.

Good Morning ! Thanks to Duradel and c2d...for the heads up in regards too potential sleazy billing renewal practices. I'll contact Avangate direct if I have too...hopefully I won't have to. But your right Duradel...if it's to good to be true it usually is. But I Initially suspected the key might have been a keygen or a limited time offer key...but much to my surprise when I entered into the license box on my account it was accepted as a valid key. So that part appears to be valid. I'll as mentioned; contact Avangate re:the renewal issue. Once again many thanks for your heads up! Sincerely...Securon
