Due to many email enquiries we've had, we're now offering an Action Pack for a strictly limited time that allows you to purchase all three of our programs (TDS3, Wormguard3, and Port Explorer) and two free upgrades (TDS4 Pro, Wormguard4) in one purchase, saving time and a lot of money. A total value of $190 if purchased seperately, for a limited time you can now purchase all three programs for just $99! That's a massive saving, so if you know anybody who's not familiar with DiamondCS software, now's a good time to introduce them :)

To purchase the Action Pack, or for more details, please see http://www.diamondcs.com.au/actionpack/

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me directly at wayne@diamondcs.com.au

    Best regards,

    Wayne:

I'm currently using a trial version of TDS-3.

Can I register it and also download the other two programs, or do I have to take all three, uninstall my trial version of TDS-3, and then install the new set ?

I ask because I assume that all 3 will be registered at the same time.

Not a biggie, but I'm just trying to avoid work, I guess.

EdBB, suppose you can keep TDS-3 installed as the registration key unlocks some functionality, i think it was that way with WG as well; Port Explorer requires a new download. So it will be buying the registration for all three at a time, i guess to profit of this amazing more then generrous offer.
But to be sure indeed let's await Wayne's answer.

Robert, the value of your current pc doesn't matter, as you have the registration for a lifetime, meaning you can transport it to a future system as well.

I would be more then happy if as many people as possible use these tools seriously as other people's internet security is my security too!
I'm really stunned by this action packet! I have them all already, so i'll promote it with my friends and family, of course!

Of course, it could be carried one step further (for those of us who already own TDS-3) - a similar package deal that included only WormGard and Port Explorer.

But could someone please explain to me (in words that an idiot can understand, please) why I need WormGard?

What does it do that TDS-3 and, say, NOD32, aren't already doing?

TDS is specialist for trojans, NOD32 for viruses, WG for worms.
    From the website
    http://wormguard.diamondcs.com.au :
The current TDs uses part of the WG techniques, but not all of it.
What i do like myself is when WG jumps up for an suspicious file or page, i have the ability to look into it's source in the safe mode, no need to cripple Windows or disabling the Windows Scripting Host, we can decide ourselves which files and extensions we want to be blocked or checked deeper, or excluded from blocking, without the need of frequent updating of databases as the determination takes place in other ways.
Let's say TDS and WG are a very good combination, Port Explorer adds even more very nice security options, while NOD32 is used by many TDS users in addition especially for the viruses part.
Hope this answers some of your questions.
You might like to look in the WG threads in this DCS forum.

The TDS-4 and WG-4 will be even more advanced beyond imagination.

One of the differences between TDS-3 and WormGuard is this (as was explained not so long ago, if I remember me well):

TDS-3 uses some of the features of WormGuard in the Anti-Worm option of TDS-3. But, unlike WormGuard, TDS-3 does NOT do it on-access. Which means TDS-3 does it only when you do -for example- a full system scan. On the other hand, WormGuard will examine a file (that it is said to examine) before executing; so WormGuard does it on-access and TDS-3 on-demand.

I'd better quote a part of the Helpfile of TDS-3:
    [hr]
    Generics: Anti-worm

The anti-worm generic detection system in TDS-3 was ported over from the WormGuard 2.x engine (http://wormguard.diamondcs.com.au). However instead of providing an analytical and comprehensive report on the detected files that WormGuard provides, TDS-3 will simply provide its findings based on the file being highly dangerous or being of a low risk.

TDS-3 does not stop the execution of these files even with 'Execution Protection' enabled - this is what WormGuard is for, however it will provide exactly the same detection when scanning for files on your system as WormGuard does when these files are executed. Files detected with Anti-Worm generic detection enabled should be analysed manually in notepad or other text editor.

GHOST: I am sure that jooske's reply would have summed it up pretty much for WG, but just to add my $0.2 worth.

WG in specific stops the EXECUTION of worms and/or suspicious apps from working, so even if a worm somehow got past your NOD [or any other] AV, and it tried to execute its payload, WG would leap all over it like a pack of dingoes on a rabbit, no chance of the ~*poor little bugger*~ surviving at all.

WG is not just for that though, you can put in extensions you don't want to execute so bad scripts will not execute if you accidentally [or not] go to a crook site that tries to imbed a script like HTA, JSE, SHS, SHA, VBE, VBS, etc. [which I have in my "Blocked Lists"]

Honestly, just like I recommend to straight shooter in another post to get TDS, I can honestly say you will be wondering why the heck you did not get WG before this.

I have mine set up so it pops up this message [see pic] in case my kids accidentally set it off. lol...

GET IT, IT DEFINITELY IS WORTH THE EXTRA MILE IN PROTECTION

Wide grin on that old china plate!
    Continue your humor please :)
Think people like a step-by-step instruction how to configure the WG messages to have their own appropriate fun on their systems (maybe in the WG forums?)

Like said, DCS brings you the joy of security from down yonder!

How could people ever think to do without it?

 Yikes. I'm already using fully registered versions of TDS-3, and Port Explorer 3, as well as a trial version of Wormguard. Since I already have TDS and Port Explorer, can I get a better deal than $99.00?

    Beetlejuice,
it looks like $30 for WormGuard-3 and free upgrades for TDS-4 and WG-4. If Wayne has another offer, for sure he'll let us know.

    Tassie_Devils,
Is that all in the dictionary? Did not give myself time to look it up yet, but it sounds euhmmmm interesting :p

    Blazie,
Now you see what you can do with WG too: Tassie just demonstrating you can add any kind of file for alert.
Just as easy as the scripting part for TDS. (euhmm.. almost)

    Be and Bl,
What took you so long to have a look at WG? I would not like to have my system without it a single moment.
Now with the extra Tassie demos it's almost a pity WG has to alert so few moments here.. :D

If I understand correctly, when I’m licensed user of WG and TDS-3, I’m entitled for free upgrades to versions 4, right?
    WG = $30 and TDS-3= $49, so together $79.
When I buy PE ($30) also, it will be $109, so I’ll save $10 ?
But when TDS and WG are doing their job, why should I need PE? o_O

    Correct Dollefile, Registered users of TDS3 & WG3 will get a free upgrade to TDS4 & WG4

PE is an extra tool which graphically allows you to see every ports state & allows you to "spy" on those sockets + many other useful tools.

Best write Wayne immediately i'd say, as he's the one in command about those things. wayne@diamondcs.com.au
    to make really sure.
Fingers crossed for you (and many others in the same situation; in fact we're talking about $10 difference for the whole combination at this time, and free upgrades for TDS-4 and WG-4 which is another $79 difference).
