    Hello manuangi,

The main change in the new build is the update of the main Acronis module - driver for working with hard disks (SnapAPI).

    Thank you.

    Hello manuangi,

The changes in the new build are described on the update download page. This is available for registered customers. You may register at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/registration/ (providing you have puchased any Acronis product or several of them).

    Thank you.

I'm not running TI, but many of my friends are..just I'm the one who handles software updates and tell the others about those! ;)

If I can't check on Acronis site, it means I'll come here every time, and ask you! Is that ok? :D

    kisses!

But still no support for Fedora Linux Ext3 partitions from the TI8 boot disk ?

When will this happen. It's getting very frustrating especially as the Linux server version has the support so Acronis know how to do it !

If it's not going to come soon I'm going to have to look at other products to give me a partition backup in a reasonable timescale.

    You certainly have ;)

  12. You're kidding? I thought that's what this release would be about, seeing how Enterprise, Workstation and regular have had updates (that said, they've all had about 4 builds this month!)

At the moment TI8 is no better than 'dd' as far as Linux goes, which is what we're using at work until I can convince the boss to get a TI8 Corp purchase order in (when FC3 support is done!)

Really disappointing that API changes (that have no affect on the end user) are more important than bug fixes :(

More information on the changes would be nice rather than just the very brief description

Also a post by Acronis in a sticky instead of forum members having to report the updates, with the number of posts on this site it soon gets lost on previous pages

    Hello como,

If you need to test the new build you may download free trial version from our site http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/download/trueimage/ . It is being updated with the full version builds.

If you need to find some particular information please feel free to ask on this forum and I will certainly answer you as soon as possible.

    Thank you.

    Ilya

Like other posters on this forum I would like a better description of what the new build includes on the Acronis update page.

I have no need to download the "Trial" I already have TI 8 and have updated to the new build today.

I was pointing out that it would be better that new builds should be anounced in a sticky on the forum otherwise without checking the update page on the Acrinis site on a regular basis we don't know that a new build exists unless someone posts here.

    Hello all,

Currently we are not planning to arrange another sticky thread. You may always contact Acronis Support Team and ask any questions that interest particularly you. Our Support Team will certainly answer any your question.

However most of the available information concerning Acronis software you may find at our site http://www.acronis.com.

    Thank you.
