    Hello.

I need a larger drive on my work machine.
I do a LOT of testing, and have a LOT of vmimages.
My current 2TB drive only has 21gb free space, and I cant really take snapshot (many, anyway) with that low of free space.
I started checking out 3tb drives, and all the issues.

    I have a Dell Optiplex960 (Q9650 cpu, so probably socket 775?).
It does not have an efi or uefi bios.

I have read almost everywhere that the bios has to support 3tb drives to even use one (except with usb, which cant be done for vm applications).

But, this one site says that the Paragon tool CAN be used.
but, it doesnt state if it can be done on a non-efi'uefi bios or not, just that it can be done on a win xp system.
    http://www.ghacks.net/2010/11/04/how-to-use-3tb-hard-drives-on-windows-xp/

Can anybody (experienced in this particular application, no guessing please) tell me if I HAVE to have an efi/uefi bios, or if the Paragon Partition Tool will work?

    Thanks.
