XMON background scanning causes Store.exe to consume around 50% sometimes up to 100% CPU resources. If I reduce scan threads to 1 it makes no difference. Is XMON getting stuck? How to I fix this, apart from turning off background scanning?

What platform and Exchange do you use? Does swapping internal<->external scanning makes a difference?

    I'm using version 2.70.32 of NOD32 and 2.51.20 of XMON running on a SBS2003 R2 with Exchange 2003.
It looks like I may have fixed the problem by following this setps and deleting everthing, including all NOD temp files in the %windir%\temp folder: http://www.netomatix.com/articles/kbarticle.aspx?a=294462
