   I really don't understand why you don't just use ABP/similar for blocking these and leave it up to the guys that have been making lists for years to decide. A glance at Fanboy's TPL shows how some are blocked and some have to be allowed for site functionality: http://www.fanboy.co.nz/adblock/ie/fanboy-noele.tpl
   
   So to answer your question, a blanket ban on that file would be bad.
