I like ebuyer.com. There's an Acer and a Toshiba in there at the moment for £320.

    Thanks SpikeyB and lodore!

I have looked ebuyer.com, it has some intresting bargains. I have been to dabs also but i think sometimes dabs can be more expensive than some other sites. I am looking into byuing acer.

one thing i forgot to mention it that acer laptops come with norton.
but there is only a desktop icon to install it.
    so its not installed.
which means all you do is delete the install icon on desktop and install whatever av you want.

I would recommend COMET (online). Bought my ACER from them in February.

Here is the thread I started when I was on the hunt for a laptop.

btw Norton AV came pre-installed. Whilst there's nothing wrong with Norton (as an AV) you can uninstall it without a glitch.

I would recommend Acer or HP models; take a look at ebuyer/dabs for some good deals.

Evesham Micros are a little more expensive, but IME, their support and warranties are superb and they have free delivery.

He didn't specify Windoze compatible. Ergo, I suggest a MAC. Shazam!
