I use a Tracfone. As I don't make a lot of calls, I can get a 365 day deal for about 400 minutes at $100, and get triple minutes for my particular phone giving me 1200 minutes. I actually have 100 or so minutes left to carry over at the end of the year.
I have an Haipai i9389 Android phone, which cost $150. I think this this is an excellent phone because: It is really fast (it has a quad core processor) Plenty of RAM (2GB) Android 4.2 4.7" screen - large without seeming too bag Long battery life - 2200mAh battery
- Nokia C5 5MP - Sony Ericsson J10i Elm - Sony Ericsson W910i Walkman Yeah, I know they're ancient lol.
Apple 3gs... but I will probably buy the iPhone 5s in a month or two when stocks replenish and I'm not fighting for a spot.
Have been using Samsung's since i got my first smartphone. I currently use a Galaxy S3. Before smartphones i had 1 Sony Ericsson and 2 Nokia's. I will probably stay with Samsung for a while, i kinda like their phones. Replaceable battery, AMOLED screen, lots of gimmicks (Some that i use frequently), good cameras, big dev community etc.
Apple iPhone user here I like it because of the experience it gives me. The apps are very well designed The app store offers a very nice variety of apps and continues to grow. The phone in itself is built quite well Integration with the Apple ecosystem (Mac, iPhone, iPad), it syncs quite well with my other devices.
iPhone here because that's what my work provides. They kicked Blackberry out of the company over a year ago.
Phone: Nexus 4 (16 GB) Black sheep in my family of iPhone users. Not really about product hype myself, so this seemed the logical course. I doubt I'll be switching platforms or upgrading to a new device any time soon. So far my experience with stock android has been great, with exception to some minor hiccups like update errors. Easy to resolve, so not that big an issue for me.
Samsung Galaxy S3. Awesome phone. It's my first Samsung and I have to say I like it better than the HTC's I was using.
I wish I could get a smartphone with such long battery life. I'm guessing the most I could get out of mine is 4 days.
I can barely get 1 day out of mine. If i disable the data connection then i can get more than 2 days out of it easily, probably close to 4-5 as well if i dont talk that much. (Loses less than 1% per hour) Now if i uninstalled all the apps such as IM's, browsers, AV and all that stuff i think it could go longer but thats too much, i see no point in having a smartphone if im going to do that. IM's, push notifications and background apps kills the battery fast even when im not using it. (Only happens if i have the data connection on, which is all the time)
