Defender (CFA, PUA det. and Tamper Protection enabld) with H_C Firewall Hardening.

I use chromium Edge and Opera with Trace, uBlock Origin with several imports and Privacy Badger (which I'm waffling on whether to remove or not.

I'm unsure about Sandboxie's future though it's still on my system, just not active right now. :(

Once again, NoVirusThanks has popped in and popped out without anything of substance about OSArmor. So, that may or may not end back up on here--hopefully by the end of the year?:)

I use TreeSize folder identification software and SysInternals RAMMap also. :thumb:

I've been running Malwarebytes Premium on my Mac a few years now without any flaw. No problems with updates / upgrades on Malwarebytes or upgrades on Mac OS. First started using Malwarebytes Premium running macOS High Sierra 10.13 and now I'm running macOS Catalina 10.15.7. Working nicely. Malwarebytes reports they are ready for macOS Big Sur that will be released in the next few weeks. :)

Wow, Malwarebytes' user interface is one of the better-designed ones I've seen recently. Very uncluttered and nicely organized. The Dark Mode is interesting too. :)

Checking out Rollback Rx Pro, so far so good. Seems like it may be a viable option to correct any issues such as BSOD, botched Windows updates, and trying software out. So far I can see no downsides, basically you can roll back your computer to another time, so it seems like it would be a good solution to any issues you may have. Is this a solution for malware, ransomware etc, instead of making backups just roll your computer back?

Trying this combo now, Windows Defender with Configure Defender and Rollback RX. WD will keep 99.8 % of nasties off my computer, if something does get by or I have a bsod, I'll just use Rollback and go back a day, takes 30 seconds, all I need to do is reboot. This combo is so light, so effective and so easy I should have tried it years ago. I think all anyone needs now is Defender and a good backup strategy, no need for 3rd party programs that hook into every nook and cranny and will eventually cause issues.

Is that the free version digmor?

Keep us updated on your experiences - I have read enough on Wilders over the years to make me a little wary re it's reliability, but maybe that's due to interaction with other software, and unfounded ...

Remember Rollback RX is NO real backup program (when they haven't changed it from my last use). When you break stuff really good there is no recovery which I learned the hard way years ago. For a fast snapshot rollback its ok but when you want real recovery from "I broke everything" get a real backup program like macrium reflect free.

Its the Pro version, you get a 30 day trial. I've heard of the reliability issues as well, so far no problems, will give it a good 30 day test run.

Yah, I do have a backup program, Aomei, tried Macrium twice, both times resulted in a bsod, one of them I had to re-install Windows.

Are you able to have Aomei and Rollback RX on your system at the same time?

Yes, but Aoemi isn't a active, I just make a backup or incremental with it a few times a year, I really don't need to make a backup very frequently, maybe 4 times a year is all I do. Very little changes on my computer from month to month other than program updates, occasionally I'll add some pictures or the odd document.

I'm trying to stick with Microsoft programs as much as possible now, so if W10 has something for example, a defraggler, I won't use a 3rd party program. I think computer works way better this way, so more than likely Rollback will get the boot.
