I have used all of the above except UAC under XP having settled on PS on my XP system .........the motherboard died at the weekend so I have bought a new machince based on Vista.

With User Account Control (UAC) turned on do you need any other HIPS applications?

How well do the products above work under Vista?

    Hello starfish_001,

Since late-12/07, I have successfully been using DefenseWall(DW) on two Vista 32 SP1 Velocity Micro computers with UAC disabled. If you decide to run DW, the following link below may be of interest to you.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks I have run DW on XP since early Beta so that is likley to make it on to VISTA.

However I do like to run a trad hips as well.... not sure how good UAC is or how well KIS 2009 performs. Currently under Xp I would have used PREVX or PS but under Vista not so sure.....
