    I am a new True Image user. when I scheduled my first backup, I was asked for a user name and a password. I used the same I used during setup, consistent with my username and password as administrator in my XP system. True Image says the login info is incorrect and that the backup may not run. How do I eliminate this problem? Thanks!

    Hello David,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    Please go to Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools->Scheduled Tasks->Add Scheduled Task and proceed with scheduling a task for any application until you will see the window asking for the user name and password (e.g. attached screen shot).

    Copy the user name from that window and use it when scheduling the task with Acronis True Image.

    If the problem still persists then please collect the following information:

    - Create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post;

    - Find the full version name and build number as it is shown here;

    Please also do the following:

    - Download schedmgr.exe application;

    - Open the command prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd);

    - Run the following command in the folder the schedmgr.exe file was saved to:

    schedmgr get report > schedreport.txt

    - Collect schedreport.txt;

    Send all the collected files and information to support@acronis.com along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
